Your NAWBO SEVA Committee and Board Positions: Corporate Partner Board Advisor

Thank you for being an active member and advocate for women business owners. Can you tell our readers why you are so passionate about the organization? My passion is to help women achieve their dreams.

Based on your experience, what do you see as the most important thing a member or corporate partner can do to grow with NAWBO SEVA? The most important thing is to help the group fulfill the mission of NAWBO. I would like to help expand the membership and be a trusted advisor to the members.

Can you describe the key business services and solutions you provide? My responsibility with TowneBank is to meet the financial services needs of our members. I serve the depository, credit, insurance, mortgage, investment needs of businesses and individuals.

In a few sentences, what makes your services unique? Exquisite service combined with years of experience. I am responsive, honest, tenacious on follow up and at TowneBank we have a culture of providing exquisite service

Which city in Hampton Roads do you call home? Virginia Beach though I have lived in Norfolk and Portsmouth

What do you like to do when you're not working? I love being on or around the water. Our family time includes boating and spending time on the beach.

The last really great book you read that you'd like to recommend to NAWBO SEVA members and partners? Good to Great is a must read. I read the book about five years ago and have just read it again. It helps me focus on what is important to achieve your desired results.

Someone you admire and why? There is not one person I admire. I do admire business owners as they are the backbone of our nation. The economy is dependent on small business and the risks, courage and determination of a business owner is admirable.
